On the famous Rembrandtplein in the centre of Amsterdam, there will be a great skating rink again this winter. Skate a lap on this ice rink and enjoy the unique Christmas atmosphere on this Amsterdam square. The ice rink will be open from 17 November 2023 to 7 January 2024.

Skating on the Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam
During Winter Festival Amsterdam, you can once again skate on one of Amsterdam’s most popular squares: Rembrandtplein. The ice rink is a firm tradition every year and provides skating fun for young and old. The ice rink will be open from Friday 17 November 2023 to Sunday 7 January 2024.
Like every year, the skating rink has a real winter setting. Enjoy the many lights in the trees, the snow cannons, wooden chalets and of course the Rembrandtplein itself. Around the skating rink on the Rembrandtplein you will find the Winter Plaza. After skating, you can warm up in the cozy mulled wine bar with a delicious warm Dutch oliebol or a bratwurst sandwich fresh from the grill. In short: The ice skating rink at the Rembrandtplein is the perfect winter outing in the center of Amsterdam.
Opening hours ice rink Rembrandtplein
The skating rink on the Rembrandtplein will be open from 17 November 2023 to 7 January 2024. The following opening hours apply during this period. The chalets are open until 24.00 and on weekends until 1.00.

Price ice skating Rembrandtplein
A ticket to the Rembrandt Square ice rink costs only € 5.00 for the whole day. If you don’t have your own skates you can rent skates for € 9.00. Tickets are only available at the ice rink itself.
